8  If we claim to be without sin,  we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.   9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins  and purify us from all unrighteousness.   10  If we claim we have not sinned,  we make him out to be a liar  and his word is not in us. 1 John 1: 8 - 10 Interpretation-  The first scripture is saying if you say that you are without sin that you are deceiving yourself and that is a sin within itself therefore you are a sinner. Or at least that is what I get out of it. In layman's terms- Don't fool yourself with words- everyone sins! The second- Be honest with the Lord and yourself. Be real. Confess your wrong doing and he will always forgive you or make it right.  The third- basically it is saying it is better to admit your sins. Be straight forward, don't candy coat anything. A joyful heart and Good doing

A joyful heart is good medicine,  but a crushed  spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22 Interpretation- In my opinion a joyful heart is goodness of the soul and a person with a good clean conscience. So a pure clean conscience is good medicine for anyone, another wards is a joyful heart or a person with a good conscience helps another restore or preserve their body and conscience.  To crush a spirit dries up the bones- Basically this is saying when you demean another or make them feel less worthy they get sad and inside feel like they are withering away like a dried up bone.  Always share joy! Spread it immensely even if inside you are not feeling it because you never know you you will crush with one ill worded sentence. Let us not become weary in doing good,  for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9 Interpretation- My opinion it means you should not worry or stress for your doing g...

Good verses Evil

Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain for every form of evil. 1 Thessalonians 5:21 My interpretation- Gossip, slander, and intentional harm- all forms of evil can lead to a slippery slope in all forms of life. One negative comment can lead to a full on bash session. The bible tells us to examine everything, to pocket the great and trash the evil. Stand your ground against the enemy and those who enjoy the act of deceiving. Silence yourself when you are introduced to gossip and leave unkind conversations. Those with good sense are slow to anger, and it is their glory to overlook an offense. Proverbs 19:11 Rumors and gossip and unfortunate, but they happen. They lead to misunderstandings and disagreements and we all know that damaging words start spreading like wildfire. when it is aimed at you, yo have two choices. You can either let it burrow in your soul until you lose all your joy and peace, basically let it consume you, or you can j...
